La Noticia is a weekly Hispanic community newspaper that was first published on August 10, 2001.
Our newspaper, which is published in its entirety in Spanish, is distributed free every Wednesday in more than 50 places around the state of Mississippi.
Our paper can be found in cities like Jackson, Ridgeland, Madison, Canton, Ripley, Pearl, Clinton, Vicksburg, Morton, Forest, Carthage, Philadelphia, Laurel, Hattiesburg, Gulfport, Biloxi and Pascagoula. We deliver our newspaper in these places because there are a greater number of Hispanics.
The news we give our readers includes a variety of general aspects, such as, education, immigration, finances, sports, entertainment, and humor not only from the United States but also from Spanish-America.
Our tendency is to inform and educate in a positive manner, which has led to our advertisers and community to give us their permanent support.
Besides, we strengthen the newspaper by using the best news agencies in Spanish, such as, EFE and NOTIMEX.
La Noticia is read by all the Hispanic communities no matter what are their origin of nationality. In our influential area, just like in other places in the United States, there are a great variety of nationalities, being the Mexicans and Central-Americans the more representatives.
Our goal is to serve positively to the growing number of Hispanic readers, no matter their origin and help businesses reach each day the important market of Hispanic people.
